Dear you
Bounce, bounce, bounce
FINALLY went basketballing today, after weeks of unable-to-go-ing.
I can't believe I managed to cancel tuition for this :)
Coool. But just this once only!
Getting there was hard. According to the map, I should hit NYJC right at the back of the bus interchange! But when I got to the place, I could only see flats. So I walked, asked for directions, and walked.. Soon I was seeing familiar surroundings- that of my primary-school-to-home route. Really funny how it seemes so much shorter now. I thought I was lost, then I walked right into the "NYJC" sign and the main enterance :) I didn't know that there was actually a short-cut through the flats leading to the back gate.. Silly me.
Basketball was a killer. Or at least with many people at the start. I tell you, I'm not made for this kind of stuff. But later on it was more fun when we played 2 on 2. Ahh, less people; less confusion, less targets to chase after. At lest then I had a chance to play.. Still it was tiring, but definitely more fun- playing with people at my level. (did I just insult myself, or the other way round? ok-*at my pace*) No lahh, you all gave chance rightttttt :) Went back after dark all sweaty and exhausted. Got a ride back too :)
I guess I prefer playing sports in small, less competative teams :/
I hate to play games where everyone expects you to make the right moves, and have someone shouting at you to do so (no that it happens to me often). I don't like big competitions. I'd rather goof off with a group of friends and have fun :)
Right now my legs are tired and my toes hurt like hell and I can't even walk properly. Oooh, that hot burning sensation.. I feel it in my toes :D
